I know nothing about how cannabis based products are sold outside the U.S., and frankly very little about how it's sold here. I believe that the cream, sublingual tablet, and anything else we can sell as a cosmetic or nutraceutical would fall under prescription requirement in State's where only drugs can be sold, but might be available over the counter in places where it's sold recreation-ally. I don't know this is the case, JMHO.
I do believe that actual medical approval may be achievable in some countries in perhaps two to three years after the safety trials are completed, but in the U.S. it would take a couple years longer. Once it can be sold as a drug, insurance should pay enough of the cost to make it far less expensive for the user.
