You mention "Dave". That's another poster.

The invitation that was mentioned, somewhat in passing by Gene at a dinner with another person who really was a major shareholder, had more to do with the informal report I had written for a group of investors. I don't think Gene was serious. He was flattering me. I guess he saw me as a useful apostle who would go around sharing (amplifying) the story.

But I did not push it as I was getting some negative input from a consultant I asked to look into NNVC. And even if I had I doubt Gene would have acted on his "Hollywood-party-talk" invitation.

Looking back on it I avoided getting stuck in a tar baby.
