They should have been able to reach a verdict by now. Looks like they have a holdout. Wonder which side of the fence the holdout is on?:

1) Dem patent trolls make ever'thin' more spensive. I ain't givin' 'em nuttin'!

or

2) I hate them sleazy big corporations that steal the little guy's ideas. Heck yeah it's willful. Stick it to 'em for the max!

So do we have 1 defiant juror and 7 angry ones returning on a Friday? I don't think it even makes it to lunchtime today. The majority is going to give in a little and we will see a compromise verdict somewhere in the middle. Tell them as they start today that they will be sequestered this weekend until they reach a decision and you will get the jury form back in an hour.

Of course I have no direct insight into what is really happening and this is just an amusing possibility... or is it?
