Guess you got to the "that school" part. Part of freshmen orientation at Michigan was a big sex ed lecture. They started by saying we shouldn't feel pressured to do anything, but... health service could prescribe birth control pills and there was a new experimental drug called the morning after pill. It was for use just in case you had a weak, unprotected moment the night before. Worked for me.
The big joke on campus was if you went to health service they'd prescribe one of two things: Darvon for headaches and birth control pills.
