MOCKBA, I know this company is very valuable, great revenues etc. etc.
It's a strong company growing with much potential
however, these words concern me.

We do understand, however, that the equity holders of the J.G. Wentworth Public Company, which includes the holders of our Class A common stock, will receive no value in the restructuring and their interest will be extinguished.

and

The public equity holders have an interest in the Public Company which is junior to all unsecured claims against the Public Company, including the claims under the TRA. The TRA claimants will be considerably impaired and there's no value remaining. As a result, the holders of the Class A, B, and C common stock of the Public Company would not receive any value on the restructuring and those interests will be canceled without recovery.

This is in on their website, the Third Quarter 2017 Earnings Conference Call

I'm not sure what to make of this and I hope these words do NOT apply to retail where we trade on the open market.

Poster, ""All existing equity interests of PubCo will be cancelled without recovery." First you need to understand what equity interest means and you left out the words partnership equity interest.

They are referring to their partnership equity interest debt note holders not retail."

Do not make your decision to buy, hold or sell based on my opinions. Blessings all!
