J is a semi-retired trader. If he asked you to be a part of a group of traders, it was truly his intent to provide you tips about his trading strategies on other stocks, but not to play QMC. I don’t believe that was his offer to play QMC. He doesn’t play QMC.

I’ve been given tips by him too, but not about QMC, just other stocks he is trading or might trade. I get stock tips from friends all the time. Isn’t that what aquantences and friends do?
