No, that is not true either. MM's don't manipulate the price, SHAREHOLDERS manipulate the price. If I put a sell at limit of a given price, then the MM's are obligated to try to fill it. If I sell at market, MM's get bigger margins, because they know they can buy my shares at whatever price it takes to sell to the buyer and retain a percentage.
The concept of MM's shorting and trading for themselves is utter rubbish, and to say otherwise shows a lack of understanding of how the market works, and who does what and why.
But you can bet, in BVTK's case, the shareholders with those 7 BILLION shares wield a LOT of power against the share price. Nothing we ihubbers can do or say will influence that price an iota. We are on the sidelines, watching the big boys play with the share price to make profit when there is little to be had. So, when the price goes down, it's because deep pockets are willing to sell cheap, but at a substantial profit, most likely.
