Hmmn. I've felt that pps is reflective of investor sentiment about a company, and if the company was good, and profitable, and honest, and functioning with no signs of management dishonesty, and an ability to deliver as promised, that companies pps should be stable.

On the other hand, if the pps keeps falling, setting new lows regularly, I've felt that there are issues in the company that shareholders know about which cause them to sell their shares. Rapid selloff means for a declining pps.

Kinda hard for me to believe that company performance does not directly affect the pps by first affecting the mind of its shareholders...

Shareholders lose faith...sell.. drops pps...

But ok... you can keep thinking a good company's pps will fall based on gamblers motives...

Jimmy screwed it up... face it..
