You haven't figured in the 201 Trade case on solar modules and solar cells into a price for solar shingles that are already exceptionally expensive labor wise to install as well as much more expensive than mass produced modules to install and purchase. There is no commercial application for this, nor farms, leaving only resi and only one company will put these in, limiting revenue. The amount of warranty claims that will arise from this will bury RGSE. There is a reason Dow buried it. If Tesla put two systems on Musk's house and the CTO's home and have held back installs due to issues and inefficiencies AND require you to get a battery for a shingle install because it is so much less efficient than modules...what makes anyone think a third tier solar company will make it work? They couldn't make it work or profitable during 15' 16' and 17' during the solar coaster they will certainly fall flat on their face with this. Margins in this industry are getting tight as hell and falling fast while cost of cells is increasing, as well as insurances, workman's comp, other materials, overhead and nearly anything to do with solar. UL listing or not RGSE cannot compete against the real nationals and especially the regional guys

GAF the incredibly solid and longtime roofing company is also now in this space and will bury the already once failed and ugly as hell Dow solar shingle
