Another article that mentions Tron from last week, they are now up to 500K subscribers, 10% of the Malaysian MVNO market, but it's all irrelevant if they do not complete the merger here.

After a year now, one has to wonder when/if it's ever really going to happen. They are still filing with the SEC, but that's about the only good thing to say about this, at this point. It's probably one of the most illiquid stocks on the OTC, there are old, dark, defunct Chinese companies that have not filed in 20 years that get more volume then this.

Talk Focus Sdn Bhd

Officially launched as a commercial service in October 2011 in Malaysia, Talk Focus Sdn Bhd, also known as Tron, is a telecommunications group and Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that offers revolutionary borderless voice, data and other value-added services.

In Malaysia, Tron received its full-fledged Network Service Provider (NSP) licence from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) in 2011 and currently enjoys a customer base of 500,000 subscribers, representing 10 per cent of the MVNO market share.

To ensure long-term success, Tron has to be flexible. To accomplish this, the company has a two-pronged strategy - developing good customer relationships (B2C) and developing good business partner collaborations (B2B).

Another one of Tron's target achievements is to venture its business into a new technology sector - Internet of Things (IoT).

Tron's GPS Tracker Kids Phone is the first project.

Tron believes in undertaking Corporate Social Responsibility projects as it believes that it is its duty to serve and care for the community and the environment.

Its first CSR project kicked off in early 2016 when it sponsored Chinese New Year red packets and donated food to old folks' homes and orphanages.

Its most recent project involves sponsoring CCTVs for selected schools in conjunction with the Crime Awareness and Prevention Board of Malaysia.

Some CSR milestones achieved by Tron include receiving the Malaysia CSR 2016 Award in the ICT category, and receiving the award for Pioneering Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives (SME category) at the CSR Malaysia Awards 2017.
