HOW DO WARRANTS WORK???

ADXS Warrants are pretty cheap (hopefully) - how do they work?
I see "ADXSW (B) - ADVAXIS INC 18 WTS" buy at $1.01.
What does that mean besides that I am buying this product for $1.01 per unit?
What is the timetable that I can wait to "cash in" the warrant and is it like a call option where it allows me the option to buy actual shares at a certain price (what price if the warrant is bought at $1.01 and how long do I have before I must activate/cash in the warrant if the stock price is above water?
For this example, lets just use what the warrants are at right now please.
