In retail, anyway, it looks like the big time stock manipulators are pumping up the big market share companies. They are all over weighted in the stock averages, thus hide a weak underlining stock market. My opinion is this is happening all around the stock market.
The press says Amazon is hurting everybody, but their 2016 sales were less than 25% of Walmart. Even a 25% sales gain is peanuts compared to all retail sales.
