Dave, your lack of subject matter knowledge is starting to show for someone who has as many posts for as long as you have.
1. A moderator should be a neutral party, one can surmise a party is not neutral by reviewing their posts...therefore, your claim has no merit as it is not about credibility. So referring to credibility is diverting from the actual issue.
2. Stickies are only able to be posted by moderators, therefore, it would be a conflict of interest if a moderator were not neutral, as they have the "POWER" to fill up stickies that favor their position. When new users enter at any given time the forum, stickies do appear to be truth/fact. Otherwise, why are they there, because someone said so??? Funny, very funny that you would even attempt to defend that is logically flawed, reflecting that you sir are indeed not neutral either, or you just lack logic, which is it?
3. If moderators should be neutral, then the tendency is to believe what they have to say, or hang on every word, its natural, just like you are using your power to expect users to believe what you have to say, sound similar???? If you are saying that users need to then act unnatural, that's like asking a pig not to play in mud.....smh
4. Is it safe to assume that your comments have no more or less credibility than anyone else on these forums???? I actually find that you are attempting to use your power to persuade users to believe what you posted....hmmmmm
5. Moderators can enforce the TOS, but also at the same time have influence over users, via their power to sticky....therefore, a conflict of interest exists. Whether you like it or not, moderators are viewed as having "POWER", therefore, with power comes the use of that power, as power can have influence for the greater good or bad.
I am an attorney, so, through forward-thinking, I have already considered what your response is going to be, and I got to tell you, refrain from responding, because there will be fireworks to follow your response, I can assure you. You are going down a path that is defending a flawed system, which is a reflection on you, that you do not understand the very system you defend. Are you trying to sell a cheeseburger, and don't know the process involved in making it????!!!
