...i was short on time Saturday morning when i posted my Jesus stuff as i was high stepping it to be on time for the Veterans Day service at Veterans park here in Greeneville Tn...so i had planned on getting back Saturday night and posting this but that didnt work out as well...so...im posting this morning...as a teenager..me and dad didnt have much in common and most of the time didnt see eye to eye...mainly because of the hell raiser i was for so many years and dad for a good many years got heavy into the booze suffering from PTSD from combat in Korea..which in the back mountains of east tennessee...we knew nothing about PTSD.....but...i came to know Jesus in 1995 and got off the drugs and booze and dad had long put the bottle away...this just 2 years before he died in 1997 at 66 years old...so...those last 2 years....even though i was working many miles away...we came to a understanding and starting building a relationship over the phone...and...even said "i love you" a few times to each other....anyway...this is one of the few things we had in common.....
