By the time GORO decided they were going to build a mill and go into mining, the exploration was very advanced - 34 thousand feet of drilling by 2007, not counting drilling prior to acquisition. By the end of 2007, another 84,000 feet of drilling had been completed (before any mining or milling facilities were constructed). They had a really good idea of what they had before they spent a dime on construction of mining facilities. Smart way to go.

By 2010 when they declared they were into commercial production, they had drilled 241,000 feet of core and reverse circ holes. Not to mention detailed geologic mapping, surface sampling, geochem and geophysical surveys.

Mexus, another GORO? The comparisons seem a little off.
