Tell us a little about you and your team’s background and any career highlights so far.

Pancontinental has a proud history of exploring Africa. It is a rejuvenated company now lead by new CEO John Begg – a geologist that has been influential in opening up commercial oil and gas projects in 3 continents so far. Past employers, OXY, Premier Oil, Voyager Energy and Salinas Energy (both as founding Managing Director)

What is the focus of your management team for the next 12 months, and what are the key milestones you are looking to reach that you think will add value to the business?

Drilling large oil play funded by Tullow in Namibia;
* Successful appraisal of two gas discoveries in California leading to reserves and early production;
*Further asset acquisitions in core areas.

What do you see as the key risks and challenges your company facing at the moment and how are you overcoming these?

Building good partnerships (generally with larger companies) and continuing to grow investor support in out rejuvenated company.

What is your main aim in coming to the 121 Oil & Gas Investment conference?

Pancontinental is growing its business in two core areas and expects to have a blend of cost effective gas reserves and production plus high impact oil exploration (Africa). We want to enhance our profile with UK investors.

Investors like to see that management have “skin in the game”. Tell us briefly about your management team’s investment in the business.

Three Board members are in the Top 10, two in the Top 5 shareholders in the Company.
We are outperforming peers, are run by a proven oil finder/developer and have multiple fully funded, high impact projects underway
