What would be interesting to know is how internally the leadership team, and all employees really are bonused...short and long term. The shipment-based revenue #'s (feeling they held back), overhead as a percentage of net sales or contribution (declined), profit margins (less cases and more value) could all be tied to such bonuses. While you'd expect such bonuses to reflect what the board or leaders say will drive share holder value, that may not be the case. For instance, revenue growth of 6% may exceed "budget" and deliver bonus...maybe there's no incentive to blow that out of the water. Just a thought for some of the misdirection with this Q.
