No sure if it means anything or not but Steinberg is the founder and owner of Steinberg Design Group. The Apptigo website is registered to him and is still active through next august. The registered address is to his company in Miami Beach as well. Could be the group broke up and he started the same type of company and perhaps is going to take it public through appg? Just speculation but I don't know why you would hang onto the web domain of a company that is shut down. Dude has 26k followers on twitter.
