I'm puzzled about the PR addressing the direct export of produce to the USA.

My reading of it suggests that it is OK for an existing Mexican Produce exporter to export our peppers to the USA and the FDA isn't interested in the water or soil they are grown in but when ProGreen wants to ship the exact same produce direct to the USA they have to have all theses test done.

makes no sense. but I guess it is the US Government smile

I can understand the companies having to be registered and vetted having controls in place, indemnity insurance etc, but the soil is the same whoever is exporting.
