That's entirely different than a "mis-quote", since it would entail a deliberate altering of the posted comment after being C/Ped. Intention is the issue here and it definitely goes to what Porgie said in his post.

Before posting the quote simply ask yourself: "Am I posting this because I'm thinking of the company, or am I posting it because I'm thinking about that other poster?"



Did I get that right, btw? I wouldn't want to mis-quote Porgie.
