It is not as easy as it looks. You have the cost of travel, food and lodging and the weather to deal with. You have to have a claim. You have to have gas for the dredge and the likelihood of getting 20 oz. a day are rare. I have watch the gold shows for years and sometimes they do not get 20 oz. a season. It is hard work and very few people make money at it.
