The loss of interest with MMEX is related to discovery.

More and more potential investors are looking into the MMEX story, its management team, its history of generating almost $40-million in shareholder losses, and its problematic corporate structure.

Existing smaller investors are looking back at due diligence they missed, neglected, or chose to ignore earlier - seeing MMEX's 30-year history of shady business dealings, a private holding company (Maple), and lack of track record in the sector it portends to enter.

Remember that MMEX was at one time "Inkie Entertainment Group" - a "film" company in Nevada.

The lack of new buyers for MMEX slows things down on the share-selling scheme. The exit of small holders, who are getting out while they still can slows things down.

More than anything, reality creates a problem for MMEX. A flawed plan, the lack of financing, entry into a market the management team does not understand, and a sector where there are numerous legitimate technical and financial analysts, shining the harsh light of day on MMEX's pure, unadulterated incompetence tamp any enthusiasm to fund more shareholder losses.
