China Rolls Out The Red Carpet For President Trump, And The First Lady

President Donald Trump took in an extra special performance of Peking opera on Wednesday evening in Beijing during a grand tour of the Forbidden City put on for him by China's Xi Jinping.

Xi had the production staged in the former imperial palace that is now a museum just for Trump's visit.

'Welcome to China! I love you!' a group of children who were part of the performance told the U.S. president when it was finished.

The president and first lady Melania Trump ended their evening with a dinner in another section of the Forbidden City with the Chinese leader and his wife, Madame Peng Liyuan.

REMEMBER OBAMA'S LAST VISIT TO CHINA FOR THE G-20 MEETING AND CHINA FAILED TO PROVIDE A STAIRCASE FOR OBAMA TO EXIT AF1?
There was NO RED CARPET and Obama had to exit through the ass of the plane!

The Trump's arrival in China.

A White House official said Obama was our president and Air Force One was our plane and that the press was not going to move from the designated area. The Chinese official angrily responded "This is our country. This is our airport."

President Trump granted rare official dinner in China's Forbidden City
President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan tour the Forbidden City on Wednesday.

President Trump is being treated like a royal during his visit to China, and received a rare dinner inside the country's most famed imperial palace.

Trump arrived in Beijing on Wednesday as part of his 12-day tour of Asia, and was greeted by a small army of children waving American and Chinese flags as part of an elaborate welcoming ceremony.

The President, who welcomed his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping to his resort Mar-a-Lago earlier this year, later said he was having a "great time" in the Middle Kingdom after watching a dance performance.

Trump is also the first U.S. President to be given a state dinner in the Forbidden City, an elaborate palace in the center of Beijing used for centuries by China's ruling dynasty.
