Anyone ever think that maybe palladium could be used as a lawful money backing? In a sense it would work. For what really is gold and or even silver? Traditional metals.

"I just got to thinking again. Just say that somehow there became an overabundance of gold. What would that do to the governments of lawful money? It would end as useless as legal tender notes in comparison. Canned preserved food would make a better choice as an opinionated choice.
