That was 13 years ago. Why would they pay to license a technology that they didn’t need at the time. There was no demand for abuse deterrent technology then. They also felt they could develop similar technology themselves and failed.

They were able to operate 13 yrs without it. Now there is a demand. It’s a whole new ballgame. Elite also has more patents.
