Antihama, i think i understand what you are trying to say.

But my favorite sports team isn't quite a good comparison in my opinion.
1. Sports is emotion. I try to be completely unemotional when it comes to investing.
2. It is not a sports bet for me. If the results are not what i expected and the price in my opinion is higher than it should be (because too many fans are holding the price high due to emotional reasons) then i sell and go on.
3. There is at least one other investment i consider potentially much more promising and to be performance champion in my portfolio in the coming years. With a potentially disruptive approach in oncology that is very dangerous to all big pharmas. But very early stage and only proven in preclinic so far...
