Edvard, good questions. I THINK the parties were ordered to mediation and I don't expect much to come of it. Although it is possible that the newest lawsuit had a sobering effect in Cambridge, I don't see any particular evidence of that, and judges always tell the parties to settle. Assuming they do not settle their differences, the other actions proceed. If they DO settle their differences, then disposition of the related litigation would probably be included in the deal. My guess is that if either of the other proceedings gets paused (we might be able to see that in CDCal), then that would mean that meaningful talks are underway.
