Miles for Mary research fundraiser to be held Nov. 6

Gerstner is the primary investigator for a new Phase II Clinical Trial of a treatment of glioblastoma with a combination of bavituximab, temozolomide and radiation therapy. She is also running a clinical trial exploring the use of a novel PET tracer that highlights inflammation (a desired response with immunotherapy) in the brain in order to tease out tumor response to immunotherapy.
