You're right about the stock acting like a dog .... I agree on that and being near 52 week lows it will be under tax loss selling pressure through year end. The other big short term factor is the winter weather which NG prices are very influenced by. Another warm winter would be bad news for NG prices and CHK, but nobody can predict the long range weather with any degree of reliability.

FWIW, the national weather service is predicting a moderately warm winter but not as warm as the past 2 years, but they acknowledge the limited accuracy of their seasonal forecasts. They are wrong a lot. Only time will tell how this winter turns out.
