Timing supposition.

Based on the note in the update that Jason and Shannon are about to go to South America for probably a month (I would think; at least; if they are visiting 7 or so facilities and companies), does anyone disagree that this means that we should not expect any imminent contract?

I have long been suspecting that they are quietly working on the Kinder deal, and that an announcement will come out any day. However, this update completely changed that impression. If they are leaving this month, then there will be no deal this year - simple as that.

Then, my next assumption is that Kinder is waiting to see some units in the field before pulling the trigger themselves on either an order or another test.

So... I now think that the next 'definitive' news item will be about a midstream test free of charge sometime next year, most likely 2Q (or maybe the announcement to come in 1Q if we're lucky).

I'd like to know if anyone disagrees with my reasoning.

I had long supposed that the Kinder business was on because of the insider buying. If that deal wasn't hotting up, then I don't see the point in all those guys buying shares and converting them when they did. That's just a bit confusing.

Moreover, as for the test partners, it seems that there is not even one nailed down, just judging by the language in the release. It seems that they're still at the preliminary stage of ironing that out.

It also seems like there is no specific plan for filling the preferred shares, and right now they're just testing the waters about how to go about it.

I had a timeline of the end of this year for something substantive. Based on this update, I would push that out to mid-2018.

Keen to know if anyone disagrees.
