IMO we could all die of old age waiting for gold prices to rise in a conventional manner. When gold becomes so unloved by the masses that's the reason for the price floundering. Gold has no buyers, generally, in a stock bull market like we're in.

Gold isn't going to run until some of the air comes out of the stock market and fear comes back into it. A sudden inflationary spike would be the other big mover of the gold price and if that happened the Banksters would most likely have to step up rate hikes, which could cause something to break.
