The real funny in that run was that the MM that was responsible for reloading the ask fell asleep at the wheel. If I recall properly the ask was showing 10,000 and so was the bid both at 0001.

I put a buy order in at 0001 for 1.5 mill to see what was up and the buy order didn't fill for almost 5 minutes. I posted about it here and then next thing you know the ask wall was down and the price ran to 0003 that day with pretty solid volume.

Ever since that they keep a better eye on things so that they don't get caught with their pants down again. It was funny, because you don't catch them at their own game very often. I think was the 2nd time in over 15 years of trading that I got away with that.

They are playing the game. Like bad sushi, it will pass.

Better times are coming with the 10Q release and any news.

In the mean time its still fun watching them pull off the 00001 trades every so often. I believe the one we saw the first day was a fat finger mistake and the recipient MM repaid the favor with the same trade in the opposite direction a day or so later to even the field.
