OCT/30/2017~"Organigram partners with Government of New Brunswick, CCNB on first-of-its-kind Commercial Cannabis Cultivation Technician program"

MONCTON, NEW BRUNSWICK – In response to the growing demand for skilled, well-trained individuals who can support the production of high-quality cannabis products, Organigram Holdings Inc. (TSX VENTURE:OGI) (OTCQB:OGRMF) (the “Company” or “Organigram”), is pleased to partner with le Collège Communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) and the New Brunswick Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour to support the delivery of the first commercial cannabis cultivation technician program in Canada.

The 12-week, industry-designed program will offer students specialized training and prepare them to not only find employment in the cannabis industry, but also contribute in a meaningful way to the growth and vibrancy of the industry. Focused on gaining technical knowledge of the cannabis plant as well as horticultural best practices, graduates will become technicians in medical cannabis production with classes beginning late November, 2017.

Members of the Organigram team have been instrumental in the development of the course’s curriculum and the Organigram facility will serve as a real-life, hands-on training ground at different points throughout the program.

About the Commercial Cannabis Cultivation Technician program:

CCNB’s Commercial Cannabis Cultivation Technician program is designed to develop an understanding of all aspects of the cultivation of medicinal cannabis and of the process and factors influencing the quality of the products.

The first 12-week program will be offered in English at CCNB’s Dieppe Campus in collaboration with CCNB’s Campbellton Campus. Twenty-five applicants will be selected for the first program.
