Absolute nonsense, this work is part of the optional contract awarded which was announced in August and scheduled to last for 12 MONTHS.

We are on the cusp of great things happening here, if they can produce fibres with the performance characteristics requested by the army then the door is open for large scale multi-million dollar contracts. And the tone of this PR suggests they are confident they can.

Great that we are to be producing 100kg + within this time frame.

Also prefer the “Enhanced Tactical Fibre” name/range to Dragon/Monster Silk.

My main queries around this announcement are:

If this fibre is developed specifically as part of the army contract will/can they retain this exclusively for their use?

Will this silk be produced in Michigan or Vietnam....?
