Yeah, it oughta be labeled so folks who don't believe in science can continue to handicap themselves.

In elementary school we learned Europeans believed Columbus was in danger of sailing off the earth but in college a physics professor discussed Aristotle's 10 proofs the earth was round - not very well I thought when it read "things tend to hang together" That sounded to me an awful lot like Aristotle describing gravity but gravity itself has become increasingly difficult since.

More apropos to my own work Eratosthenes {of Cyrene} compared the position of the Sun’s rays in two locations to calculate the spherical size of the Earth with reasonable accuracy.

It was actually closer to 2,500 years ago. The accuracy of the circumference is impossible to determine because the distances were measured in camel miles/day reduced to stadia that was a measure of the length of some unknown stadium from eyeball sightings of the position of stars estimated from what could be seen at the bottom of dry wells.

I bet you think I am making this up but the science involved is still being pursued today in such pedantic chores as trying to track nuclear-tipped ICBM's headed towards California. Just a distant memory for me now.

I am headed towards 30 years of obsolescence while the best universities concentrate on teaching America's finest young students management, something the professors know least about, while foreigners pay more to learn science and math.

And that, dear people, is why I fear to invest in many stocks like AQBA. The profits have gone to the vultures and liars while scientists are mocked and feared, particularly by those pretending to be liberals.

Hope it changes. The very existence of AQBA presents grounds for hope. There are some signs of change.

Best, Terry
