Didn't have time to go by the operation. I did stop by Major's Place on the other side of the valley for a beer. I asked the bartender if they were mining over at Osceola. She replied, "Are you kidding?!? There hasn't been any mining there for years." She also said, "There isn't any gold over there, anyway," so take it for what it's worth.

It's Indian Summer out there so if they want to get some mining done, this is their chance. Some winters you get a stationary high pressure over the Great Basin that can last for months. Others not so much.
