Mine is a 401K rollover to IRA. In my 401K were my pre-tax deposits and the company matches. I rolled that over 10 years ago, and only pay my normal tax rate on distributions, as if it were earned income.
It's a pretty interesting way to go...I'm multiplied my original IRA by 10X in those 10 years, all the while taking distributions every year...it's fantastic.
The only downside was that my company tanked my 401K by 50% in 2008, after which I took it over and stopped the bleeding. They made that easy - they laid me off...It was the last time I worked for wages.
