I’m not so sure that is true, but if you say so.

I think BAT made a big mistake by not exercising and that is what Henry needs to prove, to BAT, to the rest of the tobacco industry and to us shareholders.

But I also know how these little hiccups along the way do not easily go away. They leave marks.

If I’m a new suitor, domestic or foreign, my position is likely going to be something like this:

“Henry, we’re not gonna try to guess why BAT opted not to exercise, we obviously think you guys might be onto something, but we’re not gonna pay you a penny more than BAT would have paid nor are we gonna give you terms any more favorable than BAT’s, had they exercised.”

That’s probably how it’s going down unless and until the FDA takes material and favorable action.
