Not a realistic solution. Perhaps just, but not realistic. The U.S. could compensate the Palestinians well enough by taking the money that it gives Israel (just used to build settlements anyway, further inflaming the situation) and Egypt for two years (about $10B in all, enough to give 100k Palestinian families $100k each).
