you are interpreting it incorrectly. Tom is management and hes telling you management (tom) has NO desire for a reverse split. Hes not battling himself for NO reverse split.

Now if the tweet said Board of directors (which it does not) wanted one and tom said NO to them, then you would be right. But it doesnt say that.
