Totally agree with you. That's one of the reasons I'm holding my core position long. I would rather pay the 15% CG than the percentage I would have to pay now in the tax bracket I'm in. That would suck.

I was hoping Trump would, in his tax plan, lower the capital gains tax to a nice low flat rate but I don't think it's in the tax plan he's pushing. Unless someone has heard differently.
