I saw Gray Davis on Wolf Blitzer this morning. He's running hard to beat this recall and counting him out is a mistake. The polls on the recall are down to 50% in favor vs 45% against. There's six weeks to go. Arnold is starting to look pretty weird IMO. Wolf ran Arnold's tv ad for Davis to comment on. No offense to Arnold, but the way he speaks is marginally intelligible and sounds very strange for someone running for US political office. Bustamante is way out in front in the "phase 2" group, ie, those running if the recall is approved. Bustamante's pulling 37% to Arnold's 25%. That's an ass whupping. The right wing Republicans don't like Arnold one bit. There's still some time but I don't see Arnold getting stronger.

I'll be voting against the recall. I think Davis got the shaft for Ken Lay and Enron's plundering of California. Davis tried to stop it but the cards were stacked against him.
