"Increases in stock prices" are not "profits"
Riding a wave of speculation that weed stocks might become profitable one day is another matter.

"Revenues" are not "profits"
Revenue is the total amount of income generated by the sale of goods or services related to the company's primary operations.

"Sales" are not "profits"
Profit, conversely, is the infamous bottom line. This is called net profit, because it is the amount of income that remains after accounting for all expenses, debts, additional income streams and operating costs. When most people refer to a company's profit, they are referring to the net income remainder after expenses, or the net profit. While revenue and profit both refer to the money a company makes, it is possible for a company to generate revenue but have a net loss. This occurs when debts or expenses outstrip earnings.

I don't care if a company has increases in all of the above --it's pointless unless they generate PROFITS after deducting expenses.

The articles I posted (below) say these MJ stocks aren't "profitable." The "sales and revenues" reported in the articles you cited seem to refer to the entire "cannabis industry" which includes growers and everything else related to the "industry." I've seen no data showing how "profitable" dispensaries are compared to growers.

My "opinion" is as valid as your "hearsay"
