Northern Empire has a small section of land within it's land package that is owned by Corvus Gold. They have been drilling and found another vein beneath the known vein that has already been mined. This news popped Corvus stock over 50% last week. If you look at the NM map in their presentation, you can see the small section of land that Corvus holds near the SNA and Shear Zone prospects. If Corvus hit those veins on their land, it's likely the same veins run onto Northern Empire land.
Northern Empire is in a proven trend with past producing mines. Their biggest job will be to focus on the best path to increasing shareholder value. There is no doubt that there is gold on their land. They just need to increase the resource thru drilling and convert enough to reserves to justify restarting the mine. If they increase the resource enough, they will attract a major to buy them out.
