Below is an example not just if how easy it is to get a patent, but how the USPTO in effect feeds the PTAB w/stupid patents that don't deserve patenthood & then it gets um(usually) invalidated. Meanwhile the 2 agencies which are really part of the same agency, collect huge fees to do their thing, which is a requirement to keeping things going in the 1st place (apply for patent/get undeserved patent (in this case) /then IPR/PTAB reversal & a wheelbarrow full of cash for the gov't, lol. It's a freaking racket. It's true that the lawyer (ours at least) should take a look at the RICO angle. Hit it with everything we got.
