Today for kicks and giggles, I covered all of my ATWT holdings with sells at ridiculously high prices. Right after I did, the MM indicated as handling my broker, really dropped his bids and raised his asks.
This is just a coincidence right?
Does it have any influence on MMs if all held shares out here in "trade land" are committed to sells?
Just wondering because I was told that shares could only be "borrowed" if they were not committed.
I assume there is no truth to this.
If you know, what, if any, is the effect of committing all held shares to possible trades, regardless of how far from the current pps they are.
