P.S. Were you able to check out the Admiral Byrd Flight to the South Pole documentary on TCM this morning? I thought it was outstanding as did Mumsy. I convinced her to watch it when I called this morning. It was mind-boggling. The equipment was primitive. Conditions were brutal (to put it mildly). It was the 1928-29 equivalent of landing on the moon. (IMO) I can't believe they were able to get it down so well on film. Just amazing.
