Dr. John R. Roland, MD. On ETNA insurance approved Dr.'s list in Texas.

"The Dallas clinic opening comes in part thanks to the early adoption of patient rights by the State of Texas. HB810, which went into effect on September 1, 2017, and allows for the use of stem cell treatments to patients with certain severe chronic diseases or terminal illnesses. The bill defines a "severe chronic disease" as a condition, injury, or illness that: (A) may be treated; (B) is never cured or eliminated; and (C) entails significant functional impairment or severe pain.

The clinic is led by Dr. John R. Roland, MD. Dr. Roland graduated from The University of Colorado with a degree in Biochemistry. He received his Medical degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he pursued an interest in Neuroscience and Neurosurgery. Dr. Roland continued his post-graduate work at Duke FAHEC and was board certified in Family Medicine. His administrative success led him to numerous medical directorships at several hospitals in Texas including serving as Dallas area Medical Director of Texas Health Emergency Room. Dr. Roland is a certified Stem Cell and Functional Medicine practitioner.

"I am excited to join the American Stem Cell Centers of Excellence team and help in making these cutting-edge therapies more accessible to patients in Dallas," said Dr. Roland. "The future of medicine has arrived. Stem cells have the ability to renew and possess enormous regenerative potential. With our minimally invasive treatment we can help jumpstart your body's own healing capabilities and provide long-term relief."

The new clinic is part of an aggressive plan to add an additional 10 stem cell treatment centers and clinics in the U.S. The Dallas clinic will be modeled after the successful Miami center, which opened its doors in May 2017."
