Nah, GE has not been a general by rank or weighting.
None of those companies you mention (or most/none for that matter) meet the requirements to be a general let alone the rank of such general GE has.

GE can be even outed from dow and still would serve as a general and an indicator..

For GE to stop being the top general it is they have to literally destroy it as a company.

Fact remains that it moved opposite to the DOW while even , or even more so, gay companies like the ones mentioned and worse , moved up..

I see this as a major negative divergence.
