The deal looks very lucrative for PLX and passes most of the risk to Chiesi. Also it only covers outside the US, so PLX maintains control of the US market. Perhaps they have another player in mind for the US, or perhaps they'll keep it for 100% of the revenue. Regarding timeframe, most of these types of deals usually have renegotiation clauses for both parties. That level of detail might not be made public.
